Information about Serving as a Page in the Legislature

Each session, I sponsor pages for the Legislature. This is an exciting way for youth to become involved with our state government. Pages are needed to ensure that sessions run smoothly. Students are expected to report by 10:00 AM for a training session, with the floor session beginning each day at 11:00 AM. Legislative sessions can last from 1 or 2 hours, up to 12 or 13 in the final days.

Children who serve as pages are normally excused from school. Please contact my office in Morgantown or Charleston for more information about this exciting opportunity.
